The Neumann USM 69 i mt variable pattern stereo microphone is a dual capsule stereo microphone with two K67 multi-pattern capsules and independent amplifier stages operating independently from each other. The capsules are stacked and rotated at a 270 degree angle for M/S and X/Y style stereo capturing. The directional polar patterns can be selected separately for each capsule.
